Oh, for sure! The media definitely plays a huge role in shaping how we see athletes—some get hyped nonstop, while others quietly dominate with little recognition. Like, Tom Brady and LeBron James always get tons of attention (which is fair, but still), while someone like Nikola Jokić barely got the love he deserved until recently. On the flip side, there are athletes who get hyped up early but don’t quite live up to it—remember Johnny Manziel? Either way, media narratives totally influence who gets the spotlight!
