On a visit to Iceland, I couldn't resist the allure of hiking near an active volcano. The thrill was undeniable, but the risks were also apparent. Local guides were well-prepared, and safety measures were strictly enforced, which was reassuring. Despite some initial fear, the experience was exhilarating and humbling, showing the raw power of nature. It's a reminder that while adventure tourism can be thrilling, it requires careful planning and respect for natural forces.
