HULK's Origin Inspired by Jekyll and Hyde

Stan Lee was inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" when creating the HULK.

That’s such a cool piece of comic book history! Stan Lee really took inspiration from classic literature to create one of Marvel's most iconic characters. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’s dual personalities definitely seem to echo the Hulk’s transformation from Bruce Banner to the raging green giant! It’s amazing how classic stories continue to inspire new heroes and villains.
