Humans may not be the biggest, fastest, or strongest creatures, but we’ve got a superpower: Indeed; long distance running! We are endowed with the characteristic long limb, erect posture and efficient sweating mechanism to cool ourselves, thus making us the best endurance machines. They even employed this to their benefit in such things as persistence hunting where the early humans would run the animals to the ground causing the animals to simply drop down from exhaustion 😅.

Absolutely fascinating! 🏃‍♂️💨 It’s amazing how our bodies are built for endurance. Persistence hunting really shows how our ancestors used their unique abilities to survive. It’s like we’re nature’s ultimate long-distance runners! 😅
