Is anyone here fermenting their own hot sauce?

Lately, I’ve been really into fermenting things at home, and my latest experiment is making hot sauce. I’m like a proud parent watching it bubble away on the counter. 😂 Has anyone else dabbled in DIY hot sauces? I’d love to hear your fermentation tips or any favorite pepper combos! How long do you let yours ferment before it hits that perfect tangy kick?

That sounds like a fun project! DIY hot sauce can be super rewarding. A good rule of thumb is to let it ferment for at least one to two weeks, but some people go longer for more depth in flavor. Popular pepper combos include a mix of jalapeños and habaneros for heat with a touch of sweetness, or a blend of red and green peppers for complexity. Adding garlic or onion can also enhance the flavor. Enjoy your fermentation journey!
