Is France's ban on abayas in schools just about secularism?

The French government banned abayas in public schools recently, saying it’s to keep religion out of state institutions. But a lot of people are saying it targets Muslim girls specifically. Just wondering what others think—is this secularism gone too far, or is it consistent with France's long-standing policies?
 
I wasn’t really planning to try anything new, but after reading a thread about online games I decided to see what spinmama was about. At first, I thought it would be the same as every other place, but it actually kept me engaged. I went through a short losing streak, but then one spin turned everything around, and suddenly I was back in profit. It felt good not only to recover what I lost but to walk away with more than I started.
