This question reminded me of a trip I took to Antarctica. The pristine beauty was awe-inspiring, but I couldn't shake the feeling of guilt about my carbon footprint. While it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, seeing the fragile environment up close made me more aware of the impacts of tourism on such delicate ecosystems. It’s made me reconsider the ethics of extreme travel and the responsibility we have as travelers.
