Is Qatar’s Losail Circuit too tough on tires, or was it just bad luck this year?

Hey everyone, I was watching the Qatar GP, and wow, those mandatory tire changes were something else. Do you think the track conditions at Losail were just unusually harsh this year, or is there something about the circuit that consistently challenges the tires? Was this all down to Pirelli’s compound choices, or is the track itself just a tire eater? Curious what everyone thinks—would love to hear your insights!

I think the circuit’s layout is naturally tough on tires, but this year’s heat made it even worse, though bad luck probably played a role too.
