Is the concept of "free will" in religious texts a test or a gift?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the concept of free will lately and how different religions view it. Some people say it’s a gift, allowing us to choose our own paths, while others argue it’s more like a test of faith. What do you guys think? Is it something we’re supposed to cherish or more of a challenge that we need to navigate carefully? Would love to hear how different faiths handle this idea!

Free will feels like this wild mix of a gift and a challenge; it’s like we get to paint our own canvas but have to navigate the messy parts, and it’s fascinating to see how various religions embrace or question that freedom! 🎨✨
