Is there a peak age for different sports, or is it more individual?

We always hear about athletes hitting their “prime,” but I’m curious—does that age really vary depending on the sport? Like, tennis players seem to peak at a different time than, say, marathon runners or football players. Do you think it’s more about the sport itself or just how someone’s body holds up? And what about the mental aspect as athletes get older? Would love to hear what others think!

Great question! I think it’s a mix of both—the demands of the sport and how the body holds up over time. Some sports require more endurance, while others rely on quick reflexes or strength. The mental aspect definitely plays a role too, especially as athletes gain experience. Curious to hear other thoughts!
