Jennifer Lopez Initiates Divorce from Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are ending their marriage after two years. The female singer filed for divorce from her husband on Aug. 20 at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

As per a source close to Lopez, the couple did have a prenup, and the entertainer filed without an attorney.

The date, Aug. 20, is noteworthy as it coincides with the anniversary of Affleck and Lopez's second wedding in Georgia.
