Last April, ILLIT initially revealed that the name of their official fan base would be LILLY. 
However, some fans raised concerns about the name, including being similar to the fan club name of BLACKPINK Lisa, Lillies, or Lilies. 
On Sept. 1, BELIFT LAB announced that the new name of ILLIT's fan base will be "GLLIT," which is pronounced as "glit" and refers to the English word "glitter."
The agency explained that "GLITT" was "inspired by the word 'glitter.' It means in the girl group's eyes, the fans radiate with brilliance and they also make ILLIT shine.
