In a recent historic prisoner swap, Russian intelligence agents Artem Dultsev and Anna Dultseva were released from Slovenian detention, along with their children who only discovered their Russian nationality when they landed in Moscow. The family, who had been living undercover in Slovenia, were greeted by President Putin in Spanish as they didn’t speak Russian. The swap, involving multiple countries, also included the release of high-profile detainees like US Marine Paul Whelan and journalist Evan Gershkovich in exchange for Russian prisoners including assassin Vadim Krasikov. The complex negotiations were led by the FSB and CIA, with the fate of Russians held abroad continuing to be a significant concern for Russian agencies. 🇷🇺✈️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
