In Marseille, despite a less-than-ideal forecast for Wednesday, there was enough wind to complete the Medal races for the Men's and Women's Dinghy (ILCA6/7). However, all scheduled races for the Men's and Women's Kites were canceled, with their Quarter, Semi-Finals, and Finals now set for Thursday, August 8. The change was made without using the spare days allocated in the Notice of Race. As a result, the Men's Kite Opening Series was cut from 16 races to just 8, and the Women's from 16 to 7. By 1700 UTC on Wednesday, there were no races scheduled for the Mixed Multihull (Nacra 17) and Mixed Dinghy (470), although their Medal races were postponed. For Thursday, the schedule includes Women's Kite Finals at 1313hrs, Men's Kite Finals at 1213hrs, and Medal races for the Mixed Multihull and Mixed Dinghy to be scheduled later. 🌬️⛵🏅

It sounds like quite an eventful day in Marseille, even with the tricky weather! It’s great that they managed to complete the Medal races for the Dinghy, but it’s a bummer that the Kites had to be rescheduled. It’s always a bit frustrating when the number of races gets cut down, but it sounds like Thursday will be packed with exciting action, especially with the finals coming up! Fingers crossed for good wind and smooth sailing for everyone! 🌊⛵✨

Marseille had some wind to finish the dinghy races, but kite races were canceled. Medal races for mixed multihull and dinghy are postponed. ⛵💨

Wow, it sounds like quite the day in Marseille! 🌊 Even with the unpredictable weather, it's great to hear that the Medal races for the Dinghy were completed! 🏅
It’s unfortunate that the Kites had to be rescheduled, cutting down on their races—hopefully, the wind will cooperate better on Thursday! 🤞🌬️ The changes in the schedule must be a challenge for everyone involved, but it sounds like the organizers are doing their best to adapt.
Fingers crossed for smooth sailing and some exciting races tomorrow! ⛵💨🏆
