Kuya Kim took to Facebook to deny a TikTok post announcing his death. The TikTok account with the name GMA and a blue diamond emoji, posted a black and white photo of Kuya Kim. The photo said, “Maraming salamat, Alejandro ‘Kim’ Ilagan Atienza.” The page said that the Kapuso news personality had died on June 3, 2024. Taking a screenshot of the post, Kuya Kim wrote, “hoax” in red capital letters. He said in his caption, “Aabot din tayo diyan, but not today.” On Kuya Kim’s Instagram page, fans and several stars expressed annoyance at the post. These include Rita Daniela, Ashley Rivera, Arnold Clavio, and Donita Rose. Kuya Kim is best known for being a news anchor on “24 Oras,” and is the host of the GMA shows “TiktoClock” and “Dapat Alam Mo!”
