Unlike many reptiles, crocodiles exhibit parental care. Females construct nests of vegetation and soil where they lay their eggs. They guard these nests fiercely and may even help transport their hatchlings to water once they hatch.

Croc moms are more metal than I thought - they guard their babies and even carry them around!
