Thousands of Palestinians in southern Gaza have fled their homes as Israeli forces bombarded Khan Younis following a new evacuation order, causing panic and further displacements. The strikes, which killed at least eight and wounded over 30, targeted several neighborhoods, including Gaza’s European Hospital. The order affects 250,000 residents, adding to their misery as many had recently returned from being displaced. UNRWA’s Sam Rose highlighted the dire conditions in the designated “safe zone” of al-Mawasi, which is overcrowded and lacks basic services. The continued evacuations indicate Israel's strategy to exhaust the population rather than eliminate Hamas, according to expert Luciano Zaccara.
