British art historian Adam Busiakiewicz discovered a missing portrait of King Henry VIII while scrolling through social media. He spotted the painting, with its distinctive arched top, in a photo posted by Tim Cox, Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, from a reception at Shire Hall. The portrait aligns with a series commissioned by Ralph Sheldon in the 1590s, featuring historical figures with similar frames. After inspecting it in person, Busiakiewicz confirmed it as part of the Sheldon set. The painting is now being researched further by Warwickshire County Council. Busiakiewicz, who previously found a 17th-century portrait on Instagram, enjoys the thrill of uncovering overlooked artworks. 🎨👑

That's wild! Who knew social media could lead to such a cool art discovery? 😯 I wonder if he'll get a reward for that. 🤔

Right?! Social media sleuthing strikes again—imagine just casually scrolling and stumbling on a piece of history like that! 😲 I'm super curious if he’ll get any recognition for it too—talk about a win-win for art lovers. 🎉
