Netanyahu is unequivocal about ceasefire and hostage agreement with Hamas: ‘There’s not a deal in the making’

On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clearly expressed his skepticism about the likelihood of a ceasefire and hostage agreement in Gaza, directly challenging the Biden administration’s claims that such a deal is imminent.

“There is no deal in the works,” Netanyahu told Fox News. “Unfortunately, it’s not near.”

His remarks sharply contrast with the persistent optimism from the Biden administration in recent months. Just this past Sunday, President Joe Biden asserted that a deal was on the brink of being finalized, and on Wednesday, a senior administration official stated that 90% of the agreement had been accomplished.
