At San Diego Comic-Con, Showtime announced the expansion of the "Dexter" universe with "Dexter: Revival: There is another sequel series called “Resurrection”, airs unknown starring Michael C. Hall as Dexter despite the character being dead in the series “Dexter: New Blood”.
Showrunner Clyde Phillips has unveiled few details yet, but Dexter, the main character, is returning. Additionally, a prequel series, "Dexter: “Original Sin” with a young Dexter portrayed by Patrick Gibson, and which is narrated by Hall, is to be released in December 2024, while “Dexter: Resurrection” shooting is to begin in January 2024 for the summer 2025 release. Viewers and fans could not wait and when Hall came to the panel, the fans could not hide their excitement.
