Starting July 16, fuel prices will decrease after rising for four consecutive weeks. Oil companies, including Shell Philippines, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Petrogazz, Jetti Petroleum, PTT Philippines, and Caltex, will reduce prices by P0.60 per liter for gasoline, P1.15 per liter for kerosene, and P0.95 per liter for diesel. According to the Department of Energy, this rollback is attributed to decreased demand from China and the limited effect of Hurricane Beryl in the U.S.
