The Virgo Supercluster, spanning roughly 110 million light-years across and home to over 100 galaxy groups and clusters, is just one part of a much larger cosmic structure known as the Laniakea Supercluster, according to a 2014 study.
The vastness of space is mind-blowing! It’s incredible to think how the Virgo Supercluster is just a small part of an even larger cosmic neighborhood like Laniakea.
