Although often treated as a grain in cooking, quinoa is actually a seed from a plant related to spinach and beets. It’s highly nutritious, containing all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete protein source.

I think it’s interesting how quinoa is technically a seed but used like a grain in cooking. Though, it’s great that it’s so versatile and nutritious! 🌾🍽️

Quinoa is truly a versatile and nutritious superfood! I love that it's a complete protein source, which is perfect for those on plant-based diets. Plus, its mild flavor and fluffy texture make it a great addition to a variety of dishes.
