According to the rights group FENAMAD, two loggers were killed by bow and arrow after allegedly encroaching on the land of the uncontacted Mashco Piro Indigenous tribe in Peru’s Amazon. FENAMAD, which advocates for the rights of Peru’s Indigenous peoples, reports that tensions between loggers and Indigenous tribes are increasing, highlighting the need for more government protection. Additionally, two other loggers involved in the attack are missing, and one has been injured, with rescue efforts currently underway.

I don't know if I should feel bad for the victims or not. I mean, isn't logging illegal there, especially in the protected areas? 😒🌳 If they did violate the law, then that serves them right. Although, I'm curious why the indigenous tribe did that. Was it because they knew what the loggers were doing was wrong, or did they have a different motive? 🤔
