Yun Chuan and Xin Bao, the first giant pandas to arrive in the U.S. in 21 years, are now settling into their new home at the San Diego Zoo. The pair, who arrived on June 27, are adjusting well to the zoo's new, expansive Panda Ridge habitat, designed to mimic China's natural landscape with canyons and cliffs. Visitors can see the pandas by booking a timed ticket, standing in line, or joining a 60-minute early morning tour (starting at $92). These pandas are on loan from China, continuing the tradition of "panda diplomacy," and represent a renewed phase of international cooperation. San Diego Zoo has a long history of working with China on panda conservation and research. 🐼🌿
