There will be cosplay battles, mock lightsaber fighting, movie prop consultant Dean Knowsley, who has worked in ‘’The Hobbit’’ and ‘’Avatar’’, LARP display of Swordcraft Newcastle, virtual gaming with Underground Arcade, meetings with Star Wars fans at the POP BAM festival held on the 27th of July at the Rathmines Theatre in Lake Macquarie. The Mayor of the Lake Macquarie City, Cr. Kay Fraser, said that the festival helps people recognize and promote pop culture for audience of all age groups.
