Experiencing a traditional Finnish sauna was a unique cultural immersion. In Helsinki, I visited a lakeside sauna, where locals took turns between the steaming hot sauna and a plunge into the icy lake. The contrast was invigorating and left me feeling completely refreshed. The communal aspect, with people of all ages and backgrounds coming together, highlighted the sauna's importance in Finnish social life. It was a deeply relaxing and culturally enriching experience.
