Sharks Don’t Have Bones

This one floored me. Sharks are made entirely of cartilage, like what your ears and nose are made of. So technically, when you think of a shark, you’re imagining one giant swimming nose. You're welcome.

Yeah, sharks' skeletons are made of cartilage, not bones. It’s pretty cool because it helps them be such efficient swimmers!
