Star Magic and its head, Laurenti Dyogi, have issued statements addressing the privacy of BINI members following recent incidents where the personal spaces of Aiah and Maloi were invaded. On July 4, Star Magic posted an advisory on BINI’s social media pages, reminding the public of the definition of sexual harassment and stressing the importance of respecting the group’s privacy. The advisory was written in both English and Filipino. “We would like to remind everyone that any action or advance toward a woman in a public place that is unwanted and threatens her sense of personal space may be considered as gender-based street and public space sexual harassment,” the advisory read. Star Magic urged the public to respect their artists’ personal space and privacy, especially during their time off, and warned that appropriate action would be taken to protect them when necessary. Additionally, a video of Direk Lauren Dyogi was shared on BINI’s social media pages. In the video, Dyogi thanked Blooms, BINI’s fans, for their overwhelming support during the group’s three-day sold-out debut solo concert. He also addressed the incidents involving Aiah and Maloi, urging fans to show respect for the members’ personal time.
