According to professionals, it is expected that about 64 million people worldwide are diagnosed with this heart disease which is also known as heart failure – a situation where the heart fails to deliver appropriate amounts of blood throughout the body. There are some other diseases that caused low ability of the heart to pump blood, these diseases affect the muscle of the heart such as coronary heart disease and others unhealthy lifestyle like smoking and excessive use of alcohol increase the prevalence of heart failure. New research conducted by affiliates of Michigan State University finds that the loss of smell could be another factor used to estimate a person’s likelihood of developing heart failure.
