A new NIH research discovered that multivitamins taken daily can reduce the life expectancy of the healthy grown-ups even with available clinical evidence that 33% of the US adults use it for promoting a healthy life and ward off diseases. One study followed 394,000 people and revealed that, although multivitamins did not shorten life expectancy, they also did not extend it over the course of the study’s two decades.
