Returning to Bali after the pandemic was bittersweet. The island’s beauty and charm remain, but the tourism industry is still recovering. Many popular spots were less crowded, which was pleasant, but it was clear that the local economy was struggling. Some businesses had closed down, and the usual bustling nightlife was quieter. It was a reminder of the delicate balance between tourism and local livelihoods. 🌺🇮🇩

Returning to Bali post-pandemic really shows how much the island relies on tourism. While the quieter atmosphere might appeal to some, it's a stark reminder of the impact on local businesses and communities. Here’s hoping for a sustainable recovery that supports both the beauty of the island and the people who call it home. 🌴💔🇮🇩
