If you close your eyes in a completely dark room. When you open them, the color you see is called eigengrau, which means intrinsic gray. It's the shade of dark gray people see when there's no light.

Wow, that's so interesting! I had no idea there was a specific name for that color we see in total darkness. It’s kind of wild to think about how our eyes still perceive something even when there’s no light around. Next time I’m in a dark room, I’ll definitely remember that eigengrau moment!
