The New York Yankees clinched their spot in the American League Championship Series (ALCS) with a 3-0 victory over the Cleveland Guardians in Game 4 of their American League Division Series (ALDS). Gerrit Cole was the star of the game, pitching a complete-game shutout and allowing just three hits. Cole's dominant performance helped the Yankees advance to the ALCS for the first time since 2019.

This marks the Yankees' 23rd ALCS appearance, the most in Major League Baseball history. They will now face the winner of the other ALDS series between the Houston Astros and Tampa Bay Rays.

Wow, what a huge win for the Yankees! Cole was an absolute beast on the mound—just three hits in a complete-game shutout? That’s crazy! ALCS bound again, baby, let’s go!🔥 And 23rd appearance? The dynasty is real! 😎
