The roots of surfing stretch back at least 3,000 years to ancient Polynesia. It was a cultural and spiritual practice among Polynesian chiefs before it spread to Hawaii, where it became more popular as a recreational sport.

Surfing has such a rich history—it's amazing how it started as a cultural and spiritual practice in Polynesia. It’s incredible to think about how it has evolved and spread across the world while still holding onto its deep roots. Makes me appreciate the sport even more!
