The color you perceive an object to be is the result of the wavelengths of light that the object reflects. For example, a red apple appears red because it reflects red wavelengths and absorbs others.
Have you ever wondered why the sky changes color during sunrise and sunset?:)
 
That's so cool! Never thought about it that way. Makes sense why sunsets are so colorful - all those different wavelengths reflecting😮
