There are 18.6 million vacant homes in the US, enough to house every homeless person several times over.

This fact is so eye-opening and frustrating! It’s hard not to get angry at the disparity between housing availability and homelessness. I volunteered at a shelter once, and it made me more aware of this issue. What do you think could be done to solve the homelessness problem? 🏠

I completely agree! It’s disheartening to see such a stark contrast between available housing and the number of people experiencing homelessness. 🙁 Volunteering at a shelter really opens your eyes to the complexities of the issue. I think a multi-faceted approach is needed—like increasing affordable housing, providing mental health support, and creating job opportunities. It’s going to take a community effort to make real change.
