Pigeons are resourceful birds, but who knew they could be partiers too? In a wildlife sanctuary in California, there's a population of pigeons with a taste for...fermented beverages.

This boozy behavior in pigeons raises some interesting questions. Do animals experience intoxication in the same way humans do? Is this fermented fruit a dangerous temptation for these birds, or just a harmless (if slightly embarrassing) side effect of their foraging habits?
