So, I read that some company (or maybe NASA? I lost the link lol) is planning to send SIM cards into space. Like... SIM cards?? What are we doing up there that needs cell service? 
Apparently, it has something to do with setting up satellite internet and some kind of interplanetary communication thing, but my brain immediately went to “first alien phone plan coming soon.” If aliens get reception before I do in my apartment, I’m gonna be mad.
Would you ever use a phone service that connects directly to satellites? Do you think this means we’re getting closer to space travel for normal people?
