Washer leaves white spots on clothes

Hello everyone! My washing machine is leaving these annoying white, chalky spots on all my dark clothes lately. I’ve tried using less detergent and even did an extra rinse cycle, but nothing seems to help. Does anyone know what is causing this? I’m tired of re-washing everything!

Hi! I struggled with those same white spots for a long time and it was so frustrating to see my black jeans ruined.
