What are your thoughts on actors who primarily come from theatre transitioning into major film roles?

I’ve noticed a few actors who were big names in theatre making the leap to Hollywood, and their style seems different from those who’ve been in film their whole careers. Do you think this stage experience changes the way they approach roles in front of the camera?

Actors with a theatre background often bring a unique approach to their film roles. Stage acting tends to emphasize larger, more expressive performances because it needs to reach the back of the audience, while film is more intimate and subtle. This experience can give them a stronger sense of character and emotional depth, but they may also need to adjust to the more nuanced demands of the camera.
