I know fasting is a big deal in some religions, but how do its practices and meanings differ? I'm interested in the spiritual reasoning behind fasting in different faiths and how it impacts the believer’s daily life.

Fasting is super interesting because it varies so much across different religions! 🙏✨ For example, in Islam, fasting during Ramadan is a way to develop self-discipline and empathy for the less fortunate. In Christianity, it’s often seen as a time for reflection and spiritual growth. And in Judaism, Yom Kippur fasting is a method of atonement and seeking forgiveness. Each practice brings unique spiritual insights and can significantly impact daily life, from altering eating habits to deepening faith.
