What’s the best way to froth milk for a Spanish latte at home without a steam wand?

I love the smooth, velvety texture of a Spanish latte, but I don’t have an espresso machine with a steam wand. I’ve been using a hand frother, but it doesn’t quite replicate that café-quality foam. Any tricks or alternative methods that work well?
 
Hello! You can try heating the milk and shaking it in a jar with a lid. I think it froths surprisingly well though! 🫙💨
