Okay, so we watch comedies to laugh, right? But I swear some of these comedies hit us with these emotional gut punches when we’re least expecting it! I recently re-watched Mrs. Doubtfire and that scene where Robin Williams’ character talks about the importance of family really got me in the feels. I didn’t sign up for that!

Oh, 100%! Comedies love to sneak attack us with those deep emotional moments. Click with Adam Sandler had me cracking up, and then suddenly—BAM—full-on existential crisis by the end. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air isn’t a movie, but that “Why don’t he want me?” scene with Will Smith? Absolutely wrecked me in the middle of a sitcom. It’s like these movies and shows lure us in with laughs and then hit us with life lessons when we least expect it!
