Hi all! I’ve been thinking a lot about pilgrimages lately and why the act of physically walking somewhere (like the Camino de Santiago or the Hajj) holds such deep spiritual meaning in so many religions. Is it just about the journey, or is there something specific about walking that has a theological importance? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s studied this or has personal experiences with pilgrimages.
