WHO seeks $135 million to defeat mpox

The current mpox outbreak “can be controlled and can be stopped”, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasized on Friday, announcing an action plan that calls for $135 million over the next six months.

I wonder if $135 million is enough to solve the problem. If it does, I hope it will include efforts to make vaccines and treatments that everyone, including low-income regions, can benefit from.
