Why Do Cats Snub Their Water Bowls for the Sink?

Cats to be very particular with their water bowls; some will not even consume water in their water bowls but rather from the faucet of the sink.

Based on my observation with my pet cats at home, they prefer drinking water from the sink because they are fascinated with the moving / running water and they like fresh water than stocking their water in a water bowl.

Cats might prefer drinking from sinks because they perceive running water as fresher and more appealing—it's their way of staying finicky about hydration!
