Why do some canned fish brands taste "tinny" while others don’t?

I’ve been on a bit of a canned fish kick lately (don’t judge), but I’ve noticed some brands have this weird metallic aftertaste, while others taste super fresh. What causes that? Is it the quality of the fish, the canning process, or something else? And if you have a go-to brand that doesn’t taste like licking a battery, drop your recommendations!
