Why do some high-end coffee beans taste better when brewed cold?

So, I recently had a cold brew made from some fancy single-origin beans, and it was honestly better than when I had them hot. Anyone else noticed this? Why do certain beans seem to shine more when cold brewed? Is there something in the beans that makes them better suited for cold brewing, or is it just personal taste? I’d love to hear if anyone else has had similar experiences.

Cold brew can really highlight the unique flavors of single-origin beans! The longer extraction time and lower temperatures can bring out sweeter, more nuanced notes that might get masked in hot brewing. It's definitely a combo of bean characteristics and personal preference. Glad you enjoyed it!
