Why do some smells instantly trigger old memories?

The other day, I caught a whiff of crayons, and BOOM, I was 8 years old in art class. Isn’t it wild how certain smells unlock memories you didn’t even know you still had? Does this happen to anyone else, or is it just me? 😂

Absolutely! The smell of fresh-cut grass instantly takes me back to summer days playing outside as a kid. It’s crazy how scents are like little time machines for our brains! 😂
